Fingers Crossed..... :)

We got an offer on our house today that we have been trying to sell for over a year and a half..lol! We are soooo excited but we know there are still many hurdles we have to get through...please be praying we sell it!! Also Im a little worried about how it will affect the adoption...I have already posted a question about it on the Holt adoption boards...hopefully I will have my answer soon!! I will keep everyone posted!!!

Updates Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Well since I finally posted our referral information I will update you on that first....

Judah is 6 months old and is babbling! Her last WBC (well baby check) she weighed 16 pounds! I cant wait to hold her!!! No new pictures yet! :(

We received legals on 09/29/09 and went sent them with our I600 on 09/30/09. So now we WAIT!!!

Please be praying with us that we will travel before Christmas to bring her home!

Well on other things...

Shep my youngest son broke his arm about 2 weeks ago and now is the proud owner of a camo cast..lol! :)

My last day at work is Oct 31! I'm so ready to be a full time mommy again!!

I have started drinking water for at least 1 meal a day!!! YEAH!!!

I am trying to lose weight....my starting weights is...drumroll please....152!!!! I will keep you posted of my efforts..lol!!!

I starting to plan our Adoption Sunday for this year. It is scheduled to be November 1!! Very excited about that!! :)

Todd and Shep were in a wreak...they are fine...but the white bullet did not make it!! :(

I found a Britax carseat on EBAY for Judah in EXCELLENT condition...its the leapord print!! LOVE IT!!!

I'm sure everyone is wanting  ALL the details of our referral call...that always what I want to read on folks blogs anyway! ;)

August 18, 2009 was the day we actually got the call...I know I should have already updated my blog but its just been crazy bust around here...sorry!!!

So here goes.....

I had several appointments that day and realized when I left the house I had forgotten my phone...well I was already running late for my hair appointment so deceided I couldn't go back and would have to just leave it home for the day. After the hair appointment me and my husband both had dentist appointments so we headed there next. Finally we headed home and I had to get some stuff together for dance practice at our church that night (I am on a dance team at our church) and I happend to glance over at my phone and I thought I bet I have a million missed calls...lol. Well I went over and pick it up and look at my missed calls and I saw a 541 number and I KNEW it was Holt!!!! I immediatley freaked out!!! They had called my phone around 12pm and now it was 5:30pm!!! I frantically ran and plug my phone in because the battery was almost dead and try to listen to the voicemail they left...well of course my battery was too low and it wouldn't let me to nothing so then I really start freaking out! Im running all around the house and my husband is like what in the world is wrong with you....and I am trying to tell him I think Holt just called my phone and I cant listen to the message they left and I bet there are thinking why in the world has this girl not called us back yet. My husband told me to calm down and just call them..lol! My mind was completly not working and I was thinking their offices were closed because it was 5:30pm. Totally forgetting about Oregon being 2 hours behind us!! lol! So finally I get it together enough to grab my husbands phone and dial Holt and you guessed it...the line is BUSY!!! So after a few tries on that number I go find another number for Holt that I had saved in my phone a month or so ago and Erin answers the phone!!!! Before she can even say a word I go through the whole story explaining what happend and she is laughing saying Jessica called you let me get her on the phone. So after all of this Jessica gets on the phone and asks would I like to hear about a little girl's file....and I want to scream YES!!!!!!...but I hold myself together and just say of course we do. Then she proceeds to tell me about our daughter...and then I feel the tears coming...it was the most surreal feeling hearing someone else tell you about your child! No words can describe...I was just in awe to hear about her... its a moment I will never forget!!! Well then I get off the phone and try to go back to getting music together for dance and wait for the email but of course my mind couldn't focus on anything but I am about to see my daughter's face for the first time...my husband was so calm...he always is though! lol! So finally I check my email and me and my husband open the file and look at our daughter's face for the first time! It was just pure JOY! From that moment we KNEW she was our daughter!!!! It was such a crazy and wonderful day!!! Whew...that was the short version too!!!

She was born on March 24, 2009 and weighed 5lbs and 7ounces. Her Korean names is Ji Min-ji and we are in LOVE!!!! We have been blessed beyond words!!!! God is so GOOD!!!!!

I'M BACK!!!!!

I'm finally bloging again and I promise to be more faithful this time. I gave my blog a makeover and I think Kiesha from Blogs for Babies did an AWESOME job!! Well we are finaly HSTK and for those who dont know adoption lingo that means Home Study To Korea...lol! I couldn't be more excited! We are finally "officialy" waiting for our daughter! Our actual HSTK date is 05/13/09. Thats means we have already been waiting almost 2 months! Lets hope this wait goes by quickly. I not very good at being patient...lol!!! I'm also starting a new job monday to help bring in money for our adoption. I'm a little nervous since it been almosy 6 years since I have worked anywhere. Stay tuned to see how that goes. We also got our 1600a approval in under a month!! That is very quick timing in the adoption world!! Yeah for Mississippi USCIS!!! Shepard had a birthday last friday and is 4 years old! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHEPARD!!! He is not my baby anymore!! I'm actual writing this blog as I finish my third consecutive week working church youth camps...lol!! So I'm about to call it a night! I hope I have caught everyone up on the Tilghman clan!! Night!!!
